My name is Kerene Ellis. The name was inspired by me embracing who I am. As a child I always hated my middle name Olivet, as well as other things that made me unique. However, I started loving who I am and that included my middle name, Olivet. One of my favorite things as a decorator and event planner is to make things that aren’t as beautiful special and beautiful. So I redefined beauty in my own terms and that included me embracing every aspect of myself. I have been in the decorating industry for over 7 years and enjoy every single aspect of the industry. EBO is based in NYC and we provide services outside the state.
AS AN EVENT PLANNER HOW WOULD I DESCRIBE MYSELF?
As a planner I am patient and empathic to clients who find the process frustrating. Leaning on my team is what helps me to be successful. I live and breathe event planning and decor. I would describe myself more of an event hospitality specialist and event strategist because I look at every angle of the details to provide on point execution of client ideas. Advocating for my clients and ensure their success because in your dream, every details matters. A big focus is on client experience and hospitality. I have found that my personal style is elegance.
